Co-founded Atlas Engineering Group, Ltd, in 2007. Dr. Homedi’s passion for science and technology inspired him to found and co-lead AEG. His vision is the establishment of an engineering firm which provides an opportunity to create, collaborate and innovate.

As an Executive Vice President & CEO, Dr. Homedi leads the strategic direction of the firm which includes market expansion, growth, and finance. As a professional engineer experienced in all phases of civil engineering which was acquired through his prior work at the Chicago Dept. of Transportation and various engineering consultants, Dr. Homedi’s responsibilities include quality control of transportation-related activities in design, construction management, and traffic data collection.

Dr. Homedi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He pursued postgraduate study and obtained a Master of Science and Medical Doctor Degree. He completed his residency in Family Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Homedi is an active member in the community and served on leadership role on multiple organizations.
