AEG’s responsibilities included Phase I/II engineering services for the preparation of a combined design report to determine the best alternative for the construction of a new I-90 eastbound exit ramp at Lee St and relocation of Upper Access Drive. The proposed improvements included a detention pond at the southwest quadrant of the I-90/Lee St Interchange. The project maintains the existing drainage discharge location at Willow Creek. AEG, as a subconsultant, led the Concept Drainage Report and the Interchange Design Study. In addition, tasks included geometric studies, safety studies including crash analysis, traffic simulation modeling, capacity analysis, maintenance of traffic analysis, drainage design alternatives, drainage calculations, XPSWMM modelling, detention basin design, and complete Concept Drainage Report with all supporting calculations and documentation, cost estimates and public meetings.
