Data collection is the core of all transportation studies. Whether analyzing the capacity of a major freeway, determining safety improvements at an intersection, or the impact of reconfiguration or a new development, data collection ties directly to the project’s recommended improvements.

AEG understands the importance of data collection. The training and processes we’ve developed have enabled each of our crews to complete over 100 two-lane counts twice a week, every week. GPS data is collected and recorded at each location to identify the precise location of every count. Our three-step QA/QC process ensures that every count is accurate and complete. Our in-house developed post-processing methods ensure accurate data processing.
